TDS or TID: Three times daily

TDS and TID both mean three times a day, and they are often used by pharmacists when providing medication dosage instructions.

TSD and TID are interchangeable terms used by pharmacists when prescribing medicine, that both come from the Latin terms ‘ter die sumendus’ and ‘ter in die’. If medications are designed to be taken TSD or TID it is important that they are administered in this way.
